Diss Track

This was probably my favorite poem to write so far. I have been the clueless, desperate one on the one hand and the head-shaking observer on the other. I'd like to think most of us can relate to both situations. Regardless of how messy your awkward phase is, you have redeeming qualities, however small.

At worst alienation can push you towards despair and poor self esteem, and at best it can give you the empathy you need to connect with others down the line. The best community doesn't avoid the strange or annoying things about you, they accept them.

Note: If you were a listener prior to July 15th 2020, you will notice a change in my theme music. As much as I loved the old one, I had to switch to music I licensed. I hope you enjoy it all the same.
